Freedom House is a nonprofit (501-C-3) organization. All monetary donations, appreciated stocks or tangible goods are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Monetary donations are greatly needed and always accepted. All gifts will be acknowledged within two weeks of receipt.

Commonwealth of VA Campaign (CVC): 3400 - Matching gifts
Most companies offer as part of their benefits package a matching gifts program that will match in whole or part your donations to nonprofit organizations. Contact Freedom House or your human resource officer for more information. This is an easy way to double the impact of your gift.
- Tax Credits – Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) credit of 40% of your donation on your Virginia State returns.
Individuals/Couples: Tax credits are available to individuals and couples who make cash or stock donations of at least $500 directly to Freedom House. Business credits: Businesses who donate cash, goods, stock, real estate, and professional services of $1000 or more are also eligible.
